1 <br />1~.~1 <br />Policing Letter of October 1l~th, signed by Sheriff Tom Gibbons and Kermit <br />Hedman was read. It commended Henry Dachtera for his alertness <br />and good policing in the arrest October 11th of convict Merle <br />Bowen who escaped from the Michigan State Penitentiary. It also <br />stated Dachtera showed good judgment and intuition in assuming <br />the man had a car nearby, locating the car, which turned out to <br />be a stolen one, which in turn resulted in the arrest of Bowen <br />as an escaped convict. The F. ~. I. also extended compliments <br />to all concerned in the apprehension of this man. <br />Bills On motion by Shavor, seconded by Coppini, the following bills <br />were ordered paid: <br />Otto W.
