~R d ~ <br />Playgrounds & Proposed agreement between the REGENTS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF <br />Recreational ~ I~RINNESOTA AA1D THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS was sumrnarized <br />Area by Attorney Graham. Graham thinks the area is larger than <br />we can use and keep up, and thinks it should be discussed <br />with the Playground Committee from ~Yest Falcon Heights. <br />Curtis Larson submitted a Proposed Playground Committee for <br />Y~Test Falcon Heights as follows: Curtis L. Larson, 1885 Tatum; <br />Richard H. Rust, 1922 Autumn; LeRoy E. Jarl, 198l~ Autumn; P;trs. <br />u~'a; ren Fall, 1837 Tatum;. i4rs. Frank Irving, 1745 Tatum; John <br />Kiel, 18l~2 Tatum and Gordon N. ~~~artin, 17b5 Fairview. It was <br />moved by Nilsen, seconded by Utecht and unanimously voted that <br />Curtis Larson be appointed Chairman of this Committee. <br />It was agreed that Nilsen would write the University of <br />P~innesota thanking them for the proposed agreement submitted and <br />advising that we would like to study it a little more; also that <br />he would contact Curtis Larson regarding their plans. The <br />suggestion that members of the Playground Committee for '=nest <br />Falcon Heights contact nearby Roseville citizens for help on <br />planning, financing and supervising did not meet with Nilsen's <br />approval for the present time. Nilsen feels Committee should <br />work out its-own solution. <br />National Tea Attorney Graham advised he had written Douglas Rees that it was <br />Alley too late in the year to proceed with any work on this alley, <br /> and that we will get in touch with him shortly about having a <br /> meeting to determine what should be done so we can proceed with <br /> the work promptly in Spring of 1959. <br />Barthel Attorney Graham's letter to -Attorney James F. Greenstein was <br />Villas read. It advised the Council determined that it would offer to <br /> purchase lots 13, 11~, 15, 20 and 21, block 1, ?3arthel Villas <br /> at a price of 9500.00 a lot or a total price of X2,500.00; the <br /> Village to take subject to the sewer assessments against these <br /> lots, but the seller to pay 1957 taxes payable in 1958. <br />Northern States Attorney Graham's letter of October 29th was read. It advised <br />vs Lametti & he had received. an order signed by Judge Ronald E. Hachey, <br />Village of Fal- dated 10/27/58 granting Lametti's motion and permitting Lametti <br />con Heights to set up the counterclaim. The order also resets the case for <br />trial at 10 A.
