Ljungren feels the alleys are <br />0. K. Nilsen said the two alleys which were completely <br />worked "looked" fine. Coppini said the patched alley <br />looked real good now. <br />Meeting; It was moved by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor and unanimously <br />Dates. voted that we reschedule the meeting which would ordinarily <br />have been held December 11th to December 4th, and the <br />December 25th meeting to December 18th, both meetings to <br />open at 7:C0 P. M. The Clerk vas instructed to post notice <br />of change of meeting dates at the regular posting places. <br />Square Dancing. R~r. Vrrm. Britten's request for permission to use the Village <br />Hall for Square Dancing was read. After discussion, it was <br />moved by Shavor, seconded by Coppini and unanimously <br />voted that T~dr. '~ritton~be advised that the Village Hall <br />Floor is such that it should not be used for Square Dancing <br />and that Mr. Britten's request be denied. <br />Christmas After discussion, it was moved by Warkentien, seconded by <br />Lights• Nilsen and unanimously voted that Shavor be authorized to <br />spend approximately `20.00 for Christmas Lights to decor- <br />. ate the Village Hall. <br />License. After discussion, it was moved by Coppini, seconded by <br />Shavor and unanimously voted that Ralph Hermes be granted <br />permit #70 to sell Christmas Tr es at 1709 Snelling Ave. <br />FLection It was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Shavor and unan- <br />Notices ~ imously voted that the Clerk post ,election notices at the <br />regular posting places. <br />Rills TKDA& It was decided to refer bills for Engineering Services <br />Assoc. ~ recently received from Toltz, King, Duvall, Anderson & <br />Associates to r~ir. Graham for checking. <br />Playground Mr. Curtis Larson was present at the meeting. After dis- <br />West Falcon cussion, it was moved by Coppini, seconded by Shavor and <br />Heig_htsa unanimously voted to authorize Engineer Ljungren to spend <br />up to ~fi500.00 to move the available dirt onto the University <br />Playground Site from the stock pile located in Falcon ltioods <br />No. 2 -- the only cost to be involved is the actual trans- <br />portation of the dirt. <br />Surplus Civil It was moved by t~Iarkentien, seconded by Coppini and unan- <br />Defense imously voted to approve the purchase of items selected by <br />Supplies• Fire Chief Gordon Nelson from the surplus property of the <br />Civil Defense Department, such purchase price to be reim- <br />bursed to the Village by the, Fire Department.
