Assessment sheets have been received, <br /> notice was published, copies of notices were mailed to affected <br /> property owners. <br />Watermain Engineer Ljungren advised he had talked to Knute Anker vaho told <br />'~ Extension him that Holzer is in the process of working out an alignment, <br /> but that they have not vet reached a decision. The question <br /> of assessments for the water main construction was brought up <br /> and Graham advised that, if .the Village had the capital, the <br /> line could be put in, and assessments could be made against <br /> those people who would benefit at the time the main was put in, <br /> .Later, if others on the opposite side of the street applied <br /> for water, the Village could make a connection charge approx- <br /> . imating the assessment charge: <br />~ Steaming It was suggested that Vern Ljungren keep checking the culverts <br />Culverts and steam them when necessary -- the steamer is in condition <br /> to go at any time. <br />Hawkins Ljungren advised he P.ad the street plans ready for filing. Mr. Julep advised that they, too, had come to the con- <br />clusion that the available ground was too small for required <br />building and parking space; and that they users checking with <br />their engineers to see if the construction of their present <br />building would permit the addition of two more stories. <br />Advertising 1Yhen asked his opinion of advertising signs. on roofs, Mr, Julep <br />Signs on said he would not advise it.
