;~ Resolution It was moved by Coppini, seconded by Shavor and unanimously <br />Adopting voted to adopt the following Resolution Adopting Assessment: <br />Assessment <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING ASSESSP~ENT: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, <br />the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections by <br />the proposed assessment of the costs of the improvement of the <br />following alleys: <br />(1) Alley in block 7, Cables Hamline Heights (alley in block <br />bounded by Pascal, Iowa, Albert and Hoyt) <br />(2) Alley in block 8 Cables Hamline Heights (alley in block <br />bounded by Albert, Iowa, Hamline and Hoyt) <br />(3) Alley in Block 12, Northome 3rd Addition (alley in block <br />hounded by Arona, California, Pascal and Idaho) <br />and has amended such proposed assessment as it deems just. <br />NOPt, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VII.,LAGE COUNCIL OF FALCON <br />HEIGHTS, MIAP~tESOTA: <br />1. Such proposed assessment, as amended, a copy of which is <br />filed herewith and made a part hereof, is hereby adopted and shall <br />constitute the sr~ecial assessment against the lands named therein, <br />and each tract of land therein included is hereby found to be benefited <br />by the proposed improvement in the amount of the assessment levied <br />against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a reriod of ten years, the first of the installments <br />to be payablB on or before the first Monday in January 1960, and <br />shall bear interest a+,, the rate of 6~ per annum, commencing <br />January 30th, 1959 until December 31st, 1960. To each subsequent <br />installment, when due, shall be added interest for one year on <br />all unpaid installments. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time, prior <br />to certification of the assessment to the County Auditor, pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to <br />the da±e of payment, to the Deputy Village Treasurer, except that <br />no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />within 30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at <br />any time thereafter, pay to they County Treasurer, the entire amount <br />of the assessment remaining unpaid, with interest accrued to <br />December 31st of the year in which such payment is made, <br />!t. The clerk is instructed to transmit a certified duplicate of the <br />unpaid assessments to the County Auditor on March 2nd, 1959 to be <br />extended on the r~roper tax lists of the county, and such assessments <br />shall be collected and paid. over in the same manner as other <br />municipal taxes. <br />Police ~ Public Safety Commissioner Don Arndt was present, and general <br />Dept. nolici_ng matters were discussed. <br />Accident Patrolman Jerome Johnson reported.. that he had obtained a written <br />state~sent from Coreen Shanley, 12I~1 Garden, who was injured at the <br />
