1210 <br />Graham advised the Council he had talked to the Ohio Casualty <br />Insurance Company who stated they were negotiating with Dachtera <br />toward a settlement of his personal in,~ury claim, after which <br />they would go into~the matter of the ~17?.90 property damage <br />claim. <br />League of Letter from the League of Minnesota Municipalities 'was read and <br />Minn. I~iayor Nilsen said he had seen Roseville's <br />Minutes regarding this matter and that they did include the "No <br />Charge" clause and the Deputy Clerk was instructed to call George <br />Keene, Roseville's Clerk, arx] ask for confirmation in writing. <br />Stationery It was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen and tuzanimously <br />voted to authorize the Deputy Clerk to order 2500 letter-heads <br />for the Clerk's Office. <br />Curfew Attorney Graham's letter of April 28th, regarding the curfew ordinance <br />Ordinance was read, It pointed out that the proposed ordinance raises the age <br />of a minor from 16 to 18 years, and makes the curfew ordinance apply <br />between the hours of 10 P. M. and 5 A. M. the following day through- <br />out the year. Our present ordinance #42 runs from 9 P. M. to 5 A. M, <br />from October to the end of raiarch and from 10 P. b4. to 5 A. I~~. from <br />A?~ril through September. Graham suggested Section 6 and Section 7 <br />of Ordinance 42 should be added to the proposed ordinance so that <br />any fines against parents or others violating the ordinance will <br />come to the Village. Nilsen expressed his opinion that the sub- <br />urban villages. should work toward conformation with St. Paul. The <br />matter was turned back to V'Jarkentien for further study. <br />Census Letter of May ltth from the Metropolitan Planning Commission re- <br />questing that the Village send a representative to their meeting re- <br />garding census taking procedure to be held May 1~th, at It P. M., in <br />the Midway Griggs Bldg., was read. The letter was referred to Shavor <br />who will attend if possible. If for any reason Shavor cannot <br />attend, Mrs. White will be asked to go. <br />Univ. of There was a discussion about property which the University of Minn. <br />Minn. ac- is planning to purchase. The matter was referred to Shavor who <br />quisition will contact Attorney Graham asking that Graham write the .University <br />of nronerty reminding them of a verbal agreement that was made to where they <br />would take no more property in the Village of Falcon Heights.
