1215 <br />Dog Warkentien advised he had contacted a dog catcher and expects <br />Catcher: to be able to hire him very soon. <br /> <br />~~ <br />Curfew: Warkentien reported he had discussed the matter of the proposed <br />curfew with members of the St. Paul Police Department who in- <br />dicated they thought it was a mistake to change the curfew law <br />to include the 17 year olds. The matter was tabled. <br />Policing: It was reported that Officer Dachtera has had a passenger rid- <br />ing in the Police Car. It was suggested that Warkentien contact <br />Arndt and ask him to write Dachtera advising him that carrying <br />unauthorized riders is an infraction of the Police Rules of <br />which he has received a copy, and that a future violation of <br />this rule would lead to suspension. <br />Special It was moved by Utecht, seconded by Nilsen and unanimously voted <br />Meeting: to hold a Special Meeting Thursday, May 21st, at 6:30 P. M, <br />Water Engineer Ljungren and the Council discussed Ljungren~s proposed <br />Systems plans for a Water System for the Village of Falcon Heights: <br />No action was taken as the matter will require careful study= <br />Bills: On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Nilsen, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br />Jerome R. Johnson, overtime policing ~ 600 <br />Henry J. Dachtera, policing 71~L~~ <br />P. T. Petersen, ditto 13,12 <br />Kenneth Schmidt, ditto 118,08 <br />LeRoy Humphrey, ditto 112,00 <br />Earl Smith, ditto 125.12 <br />Midway Ford, repairs squad car l~.98 <br />Thorne Coal & Oil, fuel oil 50,82 <br />Ethel E. White, services first half May 1l~9,28 <br />Chippewa Springs Co., water service 3.75 <br />Falcon Heights Hardware, parks and playgrounds 7.93 <br />Barry & Sewall Ind.
