~.,~..a <br />1 <br />~~, <br />i! <br />portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to Minn. <br />Statutes l~29.011 to i~29.i11, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS MINNESOTA <br />(1} The Council will consider the improvement of Larpenteur Avenue <br />by extending water mains from Snelling Avenue west to a point 726' <br />east of the center line of Cleveland Avenue in accordance with the <br />report of Milner W. Carley & Associates dated June 25th, 1959, <br />stating that the improvement is feasible and can best be carried <br />out as proposed, and the assessment of the abutting property for <br />all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minn. <br />Statutes 429.011 to It29.111 at an estimated total cost of the <br />improvement of X57,338.00. <br /> A PUBLIC HEARING shall be held on such proposed improvement on <br /> Monday, July 13th, 1959, in the Council Chambers in the Village <br /> Hali at 7x30 P. M'. and the clerk shall give Public Notice of <br /> Such Hearing and Improvement as required by law. <br />Rehnwall Engineer Ljungren reported the basement as 7' 7" deep, no block <br />Surer showing above ground. He feels difficulty encountered in <br /> connecting to sewer was not the fault of the seller contractor <br /> or the village, but due to the fact that the basement was unusually <br /> deep. It was moved by Utecht that Mrs. Rehnwall be so advised. <br /> Seconded by Shavor and carried. <br />Water Mains After discussion, Utecht moved 'that the Village Engineer install <br /> a 2!~" Cross-over at Fairview and Larpenteur, the East Edge of the <br /> University Property and Larpenteur, and a 30" in front of the <br /> Village Hall property; all culverts to be used for future water <br /> connections, at an approximate cost of X2,360.00. Seconded by <br /> Nilsen and carried. <br />~ <br /> <br />Sevrer . <br />_e.-~ <br />The matter of asking the to absorb the cost <br />Stubs of extending 5 sevrer stubs enabling residents and possible future <br /> residents to connect to the surer without breaking up the street, <br /> was referred to Attorney Graham Who will contact Attorney Quayle <br /> of the County Attorney's staff. <br />Stop Sign L~ungren advised he had discussed-the matter with Maeoubrey Who <br />Hoyt do Snell Will check and make recommendations later. <br />Manhole Utecht reported that Huot of 1lt36 Larpenteur had called regarding <br />' <br /> manhole on <br />his property basing set Way above ground. L~ungren <br /> Will check. <br />Dogs Warltentien reported our Ordinance will have to be rewritten to <br /> some extent to include dog catcher service, pounding, redemption <br /> fees, etc. He will work on it. <br />Highway Ease- Warkentien moved the Clerk and the Mayor be authorized to execute <br />ment the Highway Easement granting a 12 foot easement across the front <br /> of the Village Hall property. Seconded by Shavor and unanimously <br /> carried. <br />Bldg. per- R®quest from Mr. Nelson, of Gibbs Nelson, for permission to build <br />mit. an addition to his existing storage building xas referred to <br />Attorney Graham. <br />
