<br />Kulkay suit Attorney Graham reported on the hearing before Judge Graff on
<br />the Kulkay Zoning Ordinance Suit and the Spiegler Mandamus Suit.
<br />Judge Graff has set both-suits dawn for trial commencing Tuesday,
<br />June 30th, at 10x00 A. M, The matter should be determined within
<br />a fern: weeks after that date.
<br />Police Letter dated May 12th, signed by Earl Smith, Kenneth Schmidt and
<br />LeRoy Iiumphrey, regarding salary rates was read. It was moved by
<br />Shavor, seconded by Nilsen, and unanimously voted to refer the
<br />matter to Warkentien xho will discuss it with Public Safety
<br />Commissioner, Don Arndt.
<br />Sewers Note of June 18th,. from Bert Slama, was read. It advised that
<br />he had checked the severs with Mr. Wilke, and that at 2 P. M.
<br />6/18/59 the se~rers were clean and flowing. Slama's note of
<br />June 16th, $ A..`M., advising that Larpenteur Sewers, Fire Station,
<br />5t. Mary's Ave., and Fry Street Sewers had been inspected and
<br />found clean was also read. Contractors will be responsible for
<br />anything that happens from now on during the road construction
<br />program.
<br />M. S. Mergens Utecht moved Mergens be paid X500.00 as the pillage Share of the
<br />cost of grading the West Falcon Heights Playground Site. Seconded
<br />by Nilsen and unanimously carried. L~ungren indicated this would
<br />be satisfactory with Mergens who will collect some additional
<br />charges from the West Falcon Heights Playground Committee.
<br />Water Mains After discussion, it was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Coppini,
<br />Larpenteur and unanimously voted that the following RESOLUTION be adopted:

<br />RESOLUTION: Whereas it is proposed to improve Larpenteur Avenue
<br />from Snelling Avenue west to a point 726'east of the center
<br />line of Cleveland Avenue by extending water mains from the existing
<br />main at Snelling west to a point 726' east of the center line of
<br />Cleveland Avenue and to assess the aubtting property for all or a
