1251 <br />REGULAR MEETING ?/9/59 <br />Meeting xas called to order at 7:00 P. M., the folloxing Council Members <br />being present: Harold C. Nilsen, Mayor; George Shavor, Trustee; Willis Warken- <br />tien, Trustee and.Pau1 Coppini, Trustee. Also present xere Frank N. Graham, <br />Village Attorney; Vern L3ungren, Village Engineer; Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer <br />and Ethel E. lYhite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. Absent: Rm. R. Utecht, <br />Clerk. <br />The Minutes of the Special Meeting of June 25th, 1959, xere approved as <br />corrected. (Page 12l~5, under sewer stubs, »Highxay Department" xas changed <br />to "County Engineers") <br />The Minutes of the Special meeting of July lst xere approved as submitted. <br />Kulkay Suit: Attorney Graham reported that Judge Gra~had filed his decision <br />in the Kulkay Suit, finding that Ordinance 8 xas constitutional, <br />and requested D~tr. Graham to prepare Findings of Fact, Conclusion <br />of Lax and Order for Judgment. These papers should be prepared <br />xithin another reek and Judgment xill probably be entered <br />shortly thereafter. <br />MGI License All requirements having been mete it xas moved by Warkentien, <br /> seconded by Coppini, and unanimously voted to grant MASTER <br /> GAS INSTALLER LICENSE #129 to Robert C. Neil, dba Neil & <br /> Hubbard Heating & Air Conditioning Co., 99 No. Snelling Ave., <br /> St. Paul, !~. <br />Office Sup. It xas moved by Nilsen, seconded by Warkentien and unanimously <br /> voted to approve purchase of envelopes from Minnesota Envelope <br /> Company. <br /> It xas moved by Nilsen, seconded by Coppini, and unanimously <br /> voted to approve order for McClain-Redman-Scheldt Company for <br /> staples, onion skin paper, India ink,, 1 pen for use xith India <br /> ink, scotch tape and a pocket xallet. <br />Rain Gage The matter of a rain gage for the Village Hall xas discussed. <br /> l~farkentien xill check and buy one if they don't run into too <br /> much money. <br />Comm. & Ind. New commercial and industrial electric rate schedules and re- <br />Elec. Rate wised residential electric rate schedules xere received from <br />Schedules Northern States Parer Company and filed for future reference. <br />Salary Sched- The Salary Schedule from the League of Minnesota Municipalities <br />ule xas referred to ~Ifillis Warkentien for checking. <br />Trash Cans The matter of trash cans xas discussed and Coppini reported <br /> that Korner Displays, Inc., xere a little reluctant about <br /> coming into our Village because our need for trash cans and <br />y the advertising potential xas so limited. <br />Fill Sta. <br />License The change of operators at the Cities Service Station and the <br />fact that they have not yet renewed thei <br />li <br /> r <br />cense xas discussed. <br /> Mayor Nilsen xill stop in and talk to them and report later. <br />Village The leak in the roof xas discussed. The Deputy Clerk reported <br />Hall it had been called to the attention of Roofings, Inc., 266 <br />
