T. A. Schifsky Utecht moved that the Clerk and. the Mayor be authorized to sign Contract for the contract entered into with T. A. Schifsky & Sons, Inc., Street work for street work. Seconded by Coppini and unanimously carried, Herbst Water Utecht moved that the Clerk and the ~Rayor be authorized to sign Main Contract the contract entered into with Herbst Construction Company re- lating to the Larpenteur Avenue Watermain Improvement. Streets Ljungren reported that Gage gave Craig Company the contract to blacktop the streets in Falcon Woods No. 2, Craig to proceed with the work as soon as possible this Fall. Parking Lot L~ungren has been working with Hermes regarding the black-topping of the car wash parking lot. Hermes has agreed to cut present grade at property line down !t inches. Ponding Area The State is proceeding with the Larpenteur Avenue Drainage Study to find out what the effect would be on the Idaho--Snelling ponding area - the thought being that the Highway Department may be able to absorb the expense over and beyond what the Village intended to spend.
