<br />1350 worth of United States Treasury Bills maturing January 15th., 1961 <br />at a cost to the Village of ~2G,660.74. If these bills are held <br />until maturity, January 15th, 1961, the Village will receive ~'~26,000, <br />for them. If they have to be sold in December of 1960 to make pay- <br />ment due January 1st, 1961, we wil_1 have to discount the face value <br />somewhat to the date of payment. Graham will deliver check for <br />~2~t,660.7~~ to the First National Bank, Friday, January, 15, 1960. <br />Graham's letter of Jar_uary I~th, regarding control of 3oulevard <br />Trees was read. It appears the home owner ovrns all of the boule- <br />vard trees abutting on their property and that, such persons have <br />the right to collect damages from anyone who injures or kills the <br />trees. <br />Letter of January 8th from Burton C~ Spear, Director Ramsey Co. <br />T;Tachine Accounting Department eras read. It advised they established <br />the deadline of September 15th for the beginning of public improve- <br />ment assessment rolls.
