1390 <br />Nilsen <br />RESOLUTION <br />No, they put in their own line several years ago and the Larpen- <br />teur Avenus VTatermain does not benefit them. <br />Utecht moved the following resolution adopting assessment: <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to proper notice duly given as required by law, <br />the Council has met and heard and passed upon all objections to <br />the proposed. assessment for the improvement of Larpenteur Avenue <br />between Snelling Avenue and a point 72b ft east of the center line <br />of Cleveland. Avenue by the installation of a watermain and <br />appurtenances <br />NOw THEF.EFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ~3Y THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA: <br />_ 1. Such proposed assessment, as amended, a copy of which is <br />attached. hereto and made a part hereof, is hereby accepted and <br />shall constitute the special assessment against the lands named <br />therein, and each tract of land therein included is hereby found <br />to be benefited by the proposed improvement in i-,he amou~ht} Sf .the <br />assessment levied against it. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a period of 20 years, the first of the installments <br />to be payable on or before the first Monday in January 1961 and <br />shall bear interest at the rate of b% per annum from the date of <br />the adoption of this assessment resolution. To the first install- <br />ment shall be added interest on the entire assessment from the <br />date of this resolution until December 31st, 1961. To each sub- <br />sequent installment when due shall be added interest for one <br />year on all unpaid installments. <br />3. The owner of any property so assessed may, at any time prior <br />to certification of the assessment to the Count;-Auditor, pay the <br />whole of the assessment on such property, with interest accrued to <br />the date of payment, to the Village Treasurer, except that no <br />interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid within <br />30 days from the adoption of this resolution; and he may, at any <br />time thereafter, pay to the county treasurer the entire amount of <br />the assessment remaining unpaid, vrith interest accrued to <br />December 31st of the year in which such payment is made. <br />fit. The Clerk shall, at the end of the 30 day period, transmit a certi- <br />fied duplicate of the assessments to the County Auditor to be extended <br />on the proper tax lists of the county, and such assessments shall be <br />collected and paid over in the same manner as other municipal taxes. <br />Seconded by ~Farkentien and unanimously carried. <br />Trees There was a short discussion about the sprayingof trees. Coopini <br />will contact one of the specialists recommended by Dr. Mickel and <br />the spray specialist from Standard Oil. <br />Licenses All things being in order, it was moved by Utecht, seconded by <br />Warkentien and unanimously voted to issue P.+IASTER PLUMBERS LICEDISE <br />#~~t to Charles E. Vd'atson, dba Ideal Plumbing & Heating Co., 807 <br />S. E. ltth St., A~Iinneaz~olis, Minn. <br />All things being in order, it was voted by Nilsen, seconded. by <br /> <br />1 <br />
