<br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, ?Mayor; George J, Shavor, Trustee; ~~illis `~',arkentien,
<br />Trustee and~i~im. R. Utecht, Clerk, Also present were Frank N. Graham, Village
<br />Attorney; Otto Bonestroo, Engineer, and Ethel E. 1~~hite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy
<br />Treasurer. Absent, Paul Coppini, Trustee and Wm. E. Olsen Treasurer.
<br />The rMinutes of the regular meeting of i,Aay 26th were approved as submitted.
<br />SS Sinking On motion by Warkentien, seconded by Shavor and unanimously
<br />Fund carried, the Clerk ?vas authorized to prepare a check to the
<br />American National Bank for ~19,b80.33 to cover interest and
<br />principal on the G. 0. Sewer Bonds dated July 1st, 1957 and
<br />due July 1st, 1960.
<br />Gas T~,iains On motion by Utecht, seconded by Shavor and unanimously
<br />carried, it was agreed to grant Northern States Power Company
<br />permission to install gas mains as per Falcon Heights, Estimate
<br />15291, Larpenteur Avenue 2l~6~ l'iest of Cleveland 585 west.

<br />Storm Sewer was read, in Bart, as followst
<br />"Our investigation of the district resulted in an approximate
<br />area bordering and including Garden on the North, Snelling on
<br />the Y;est, La.rpenteur on the South and Simpson extended from
<br />Garden to Larpenteur on the East.
<br />The improvement would extend from Simpson to Arona, from
<br />Asbury to Arona, from Arona to Larpenteur including a stub
<br />storm line 150 ft Pr`est up the alley behind the Pure Oil
<br />Station. The storm sewers are sized primarily for removal
<br />with some ponding during heavy rains.
<br /> The cost estimate for the 12_t~ to 1$« storm sewer, catch basins,
<br /> appurtenances and street improvements as required is ~ll~,000.00.
<br /> The project as outlined is feasible and necessary. We recommend
<br /> that the Council strongly consider installing the project.
<br /> There are within the district a net assessable area of X336,687
<br /> square feet. On the square foot basis, each benefitted parcel is
<br /> to be assessed fi0.0Z678. On a lot 50 feet by 130 feet, the cost
<br /> of the improvement is X109.00."

<br /> carried, requisition #168 for pails was approved.
