1523 <br />REGULAR ~?FETING OCTOBER 27th, 1960. <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P. M., the following Council rltembers being <br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, r,?ayor; George J. Shavor, Trustee; Willis Warkentien, <br />Trustee and Paul Coppini, Trustee. Also present were Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer, <br />Jerry A~?eyers and Brad Lemberg, Engineers; Frank N. Graham, Village Attorney and <br />Ethel E. Y'7hite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer. <br />The Pdinutes of the Special Meeting of September 28th were approved as submitted. <br />The Ptlinutes of the Regular Meeting of October 11th were approved as submitted. <br />Fire Letter from K. Mousseau, expressing sincere thanks to the <br />Department Fire Department for "Unexcelled sz~eed, efficiency and quality <br />of the help" extended to him in his cardiac emergency was <br />read and referred to the Fire Department. <br />License All requirements having been met SEIr,ER INSTALLER'S LICENSE <br />#!~0 was i.~sued to Harold A. N"uoller, dba H. W. Sanitation, <br />851 W. County-Road B., Roseville, Rinnesota. Moved by <br />Coppini, seconded by Nilsen and carried. <br />Trailer House Henry Schroeder, resident of trailer parked on Killmer's <br />Property, 1750 W. Larpenteur, was in and explained that <br />Killmer gave him permission to nark his trailer on the <br />property as part compensation for his services in the green- <br />house; that he gets water from the nursery; has a cess pool <br />and drainfield for wash and dish water; uses the bathroom <br />in the nursery; that he lives in the trailer during the work <br />week and goes to his home at Foley, Minnesota, week ends. <br />The Deputy Clerk was instructed to have the Plumbing Inspector <br />check the plumbing at the trailer. <br />Engineer's Dunkley, the contractor doing the street work required to <br />Report .restore the streets disturbed by the Vdatermain Improvement, <br />1960, No. 1, will also take care of the drainage on Albert, <br />North of Larpenteur, and Arona Street while he has his equip- <br />ment in here, but will keep the cost separate from the water- <br />main work. They will check the culvert at Albert and Garden <br />to see that it drains. Lemberg will check on the proposed <br />arc-light at Ruggles and Holton. They will place the culvert <br />at the Pascal Street entrance to the Walkway between Pascal <br />and Holton just North of Ruggles, also see that posts are <br />placed to prevent vehicular traffic. They will talk to St. <br />Paul regarding the intersections at Hoyt. The street is high <br />on Pascal near Roselawn but the curb was so badly beaten down <br />that there was a Swale and they had to meet the existing mat <br />to get a good job. <br />Larpenteur Avenue Lemberg feels that inasmuch as we know 3 stubs on Fry Street <br />Watermain, Fry St. were broken, the other stubs should be dug up and checked. <br />extension. Attorney Graham feels there is a possibility that some of the <br />sewer stubs on Larpenteur might also have been damaged by the <br />watermain installation. The Deputy Clerk was instructed to <br />list the Larpenteur Avenue Sewer Connections that might have <br />been affected and note the date of the installations. Jerry <br />Meyers advised Herbst was in this Spring to finish up some <br />work not completed last Fall. The Engineers and Attorney will <br />
