Seconded by <br />Warkentien and carried. <br />LWV Letter of appreciation from the League of Women Voters was <br />read and filed. <br />Trailer House Jastrow's report was read and the matter was referred to <br />Attorney Graham. <br />Prior Ave. Sewer, Letter from the r:2innesota Department of Health approving the <br />Hermes. installation of approximately 365 feet of 8'" diameter sewer <br />pipe as ber plans, was read and. filed. <br />Streets Letter from Deane R. Anklan, County Engineer, was read. It <br />advised that opening the median strip West of Fry for the <br />apartment entrance would not benefit Larpenteur Avenue Traffic <br />in any manner, and they would ,abide by the State's recommenda- <br />tions. Lemberg will get an appointment with State and County <br />representatives for an "On the scene" inspection at a "Heavy <br />Traffic" period. <br />Nilsen moved that "No Parking 2 A. ?~d. to 7:30 A. M." signs <br />be placed on Fry Street at the North end of the Apartment <br />Property in such a manner as to restrict marking from that <br />point South to Larpenteur Avenue. Seconded by Coppini and <br />carried. <br />Lemberg will contact Armor Coat first thing in the morning <br />and if they don't intend to finish sweeping the streets, he <br />will contact Schifsky. <br />Lemberg reported: The drainage at Holton and Garden, the <br />house South of the Congregational Church and the Parsonage <br />has been corrected. Armor Coat is supposed to shape the <br />street and correct the drainage on Albert North of the Shell <br />Station and at Pure ail. They still have some work to do on <br />the East side of Tatum. They took the curb out at Wesley <br />Schmidt's. Lemberg will stop to see Berggren and Roth who <br />bo+.,h want the curb out. Lemberg and Nilsen will stop to see <br />the people on the V~lest side of Pascal tomorrow night. Lemberg <br />has arranged with Slama to take care of flushing the culverts before <br />the freeze-up. The alley between Larpenteur and California <br />from Hamline to Albert is in bad condition, but it would be <br />better to fix it next Spring, except for the bad holes. <br />Bills On motion by Coppini, seconded by Warkentien, the following <br />bills were ordered paid: <br />R.
