Seconded by LSortenson and carried. <br />Ramsey County V9HEREAS, the Legislative Committee of the Ramsey County Municipal <br />Municipal Officials Association has recommended certain resolutions to the <br />Officials Association, and <br />Association: <br />WHEREAS, the Ramsey County Municipal Officials Association has <br />adopted these resolutions, the tiTillage Council of Falcon Heights <br />hereby endorses the action taken by tyre Association with respect <br />to specific resolutions which are hereinafter quoted: <br />1. WHEREAS, there are presently located in Ramsey County, out- <br />side the City of St. Paul, seventeen (17) incorporated munici- <br />palities of which three have established municipal courts, and <br />WHEREAS, reasonable salary for a judge, together with all the <br />necessary expenses, such as trial costs, including jurors fees, <br />when added together, constitute a very substantial expense for <br />a municipality, and <br />WHEREAS, many of these incorporated municipalities in Ramsey <br />County are too small by reason of population or assessed valua- <br />tion or both to establish a court, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ramsey County Municipal Officials <br />Association does hereby call this problem to the attention of <br />legislators representing the areas referred to and does hereby <br />
