,y9~ <br />The streets should be swept now. Cost should be about <br />X300.00. <br />Seven alleys need drainage correction and patching. The <br />alley between California and Larpenteur, Hamline and Albert, <br />should be dug up and reshaped, placing a catch basin about <br />100' from Hamline, and then seal coated. This replacement <br />of the existing system is to be done to improve the present <br />drainage system and make it work. <br />The streets of the tillage will be surveyed for needed re- <br />pairs and drainage correction. Contemplate shooting levels <br />and hiring Pennig to do the work. <br />Estimated cost of Hatching alleys is °3200.00 and 41500.00 <br />for seal coating. <br />The manhole adjustments should be made now. Estimate the <br />cost of the summer maintenance work on certain streets and <br />alleys, including adjustment of manholes at X59382.00, bringing <br />the total to an estimate of eleven thousand dollars. <br />The engineering services on Arena and traffic counters can <br />be paid out of State Aid ?maintenance fund. <br />Resolution: It was moved by Coppini, seconded by Shaver and unanimously <br />voted that the Engineers be instructed to go ahead with the <br />street and alley maintenance program as outlined this evening. <br />It was recommended that the curb and Qutter improvement on <br />krona be assessed at X3.50 per foot. Improvement includes <br />removing excess, dressing, shaving boulevards, sodding and <br />adjusting sidewalks. <br />Special It was moved by Mortensen, seconded by Coppini and unanimously <br />tyieeting: voted to set a Special Council Meeting for 7:30 P. m. '~hursday, <br />June 1st. <br />Playground Lemberg estimated that it would cost 42.50 per lineal foot for <br />Improvements: the sidewalk past 1543 Iowa. Lemberg will take estimated <br />costs and descriptions of property involved in the playground and <br />arena Street Improvement assessments to Attorney Graham's of~`ice. <br />Fire Ordinance It was moved by Shavor, seconded by Coppini and unanimously <br />No. 61. voted to adopt Fire Ordinance No. 61, an ordinar_ce adopting a <br />fire prevention code prescribing regulations ~overring conditions <br />hazardous to life and property from fire or explosion a.nd re- <br />pealing section 12 of Ordinance No. 38. Attorney Graham will <br />arrar..ge for publication. <br />Sanitar Sewer, At+orney Graham reported he had received a report from nonestroo <br />3roken Stubs, & Associates stating that they hid opened up and found that <br />Spiegler Pron. four sewer stubs had been broken and ha.d so advised the <br />'Attorneys for Herbst Construction Company, Lemberg will .advise <br />coat and. send pictures later. <br />1 <br />I <br />~~ <br />1 <br />
