1643 <br />REGULAR PREETING SEPTE!t4BER 28tki, 1961. <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:00 P. M., the following Council Members being <br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, A.gayor; George Shavor, Trustee; Willis Warkentien, <br />Trustee; Paul Coppini, Trustee and W. ~!. Mortenson, Clerk. Also present were <br />M. Galvin, Attorney; Wm. E. Olsen, Treasurer; Brad Lemberg and Otto Bonestroo, <br />Engineers; and Ethel E. White, Deputy Clerk and. Deputy Treasurer. <br />The Minutes of the regular meeting of September 14th were approved as sub- <br />mitted. <br />Municipal Engineer Lemberg reported he is attending a meeting at the <br />State Highway Department Friday, September 29th, regarding new <br />Aid recommendations and rulings regarding Municipal State Aid <br />Streets. <br />Traffic There was a discussion regarding traffic tickets and the <br />Tickets Clerk was instructed to contact the Clerk at White Sear <br />for information on their system of handling tickets, es- <br />pecially in regard to Juvenile tickets. <br />Burning Letter from Earl Anderson regarding burning ordinance was <br />Ordinance read and referredto Attorney Galvin. <br />PERA Letter of September 20th from Eugene A. Monick, County <br /> Auditor, was read. It listed the Village obligation as <br /> follawss <br /> Contributory share at 6~ 15Lt8,88 <br /> Contributory share to amortize deficit <br /> at 22~ 645.37 <br /> Contributory share for Police and Fire <br /> Fund at 9~ ?35.5? <br /> Contributory share to amortize deficit of <br /> Police and. Fire Fund at 22~ 204.33 <br /> 313 .1 <br />Dry-Cleaning, T3ulletin from the Department of Health, State of Minnesota <br />self serve regarding standards for coin operated dry cleaning equipment <br /> was scanned and. referred to Gordon Nelson, Fire Chief. <br />Addressing Mr. Stokes of the Addressograph Company demonstrated their <br />Equipment small addressing machine. Decision will be made after a <br /> demonstration of the Elliot Fisher equipment. <br />Platting Attorney Tarbox, representing Art Lindig, was present to <br /> request that Lindig's proposed plat be presented to the <br /> Planning Commission. After discussion, it was moved by <br /> Shavor, seconded by Warkentien and voted that the preliminary <br /> plan of the Art Lindig Addition be referred to thePlanning <br /> Commission for study and recommendation. It was also <br /> reco~nnended that the entire area between Tatum and Fairview be <br /> studied and planned. <br />Playground, Lemberg reported that the work at the Snelling Idaho Playground <br />Snell. Idaho. Site has been completed. Fence should be completed by October <br /> 6th. <br />
