The engineers recommend that the Village shoot a little <br />Playground oil on the parking lot at the V!test Falcon Heights <br />Playground, let it solidify and cure and then shoot a <br />little more on it in the Spring. They will then have a <br />real good parking lot. The Council authorized the engineers <br />to order this work done this Fall at an estimated cost of <br />X100.00. <br />Assessments Attorney Galvin advised there was no action to be taken relative <br />to the letter of Juran and P~foody, dated September 18, 1961, <br />relating to the Larpenteur-Avenue Watermain and Pumping <br />Station or Watermain 1960, No. 1 assessments. <br />Sewer Ga~t-in suggested writing a letter to those people not hooked <br />up to the sewer asking what their intentions are before <br />starting any action under the provision of the sewer <br />ordinance requiring a connection by October 1, 1961. <br />Resignation, Shavor moved adoption of the following resolution which was <br />Paul Coptiini. seconded by ~'Varkentien and carried: <br />WHEREAS Trustee Paul Coppini has submitted his resignation as <br />a member of the Falcon Heights Village Council effective <br />October 1st, and <br />WHEREAS the Falcon Heights Village Council hereby reluctantly <br />accepts Paul Connini's resignation with a vote of thanks <br />for his years of devoted service to the Village and <br />WHEREAS it is necessary to appoint a successor trustee to <br />the Falcon Heights Village Council <br />NOW, 'WHEREFORE, IT IS P_ESOLVED that <br />Charles P. Stone who is a duly qualified resident of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights be and is hereby appointed to the <br />Village Council as a Trustee effective October 2nd, 1961. <br />Upon a roll call vote being taken, the following vote was <br />recorded; Wa.rkentien, aye; Shavor, aye; Nilsen, Aye; <br />~dortenson, Aye. <br />1 <br />Ramsey County Mortenson moved that, the Council annrove chapter 728 of <br />League of the laws of 1961 regarding membership in the Ramsey County <br />municipalities League of ~Zunicipalities. Seconded by Shavor and carried. <br />Planning ~daterial sent over by Howard Dahlgren was studied and dis- <br />cussed. Nilsen moved that we order 500 copies in accordance <br />with Dahlgren's letter of September 27th as soon as Cart-might <br />and Otis have had a. chance to proof-read the material. The <br />Deputy Clerk was instructed to contact Dahlgren and tell him <br />that we would like to order 500 copies of each of the two <br />sets at X61.00 and that he should go ahead with the art work. <br />We expect to have the copies proof-read and back to him <br />Monday. <br />
