<br />WHEREAS, it appeared that Alexander Construction Co., Inc.,
<br />lt6~1 Hiawatha Avenue, Minneapolis, 6, Minnesota, is the
<br />lowest responsible bidder,
<br />NC+~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of
<br />Falcon Heights, Minnesota:
<br />(1) The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed
<br />to enter into the attached contract with Alexander Construc-
<br />tion Company, !:6l~1 Hiawatha Avenue, Minneapolis, 6, Minnesota,
<br />in the name of the Village of Falcon Heights for the improve-
<br />ment of Arona Avenue according to the plans and specifications
<br />therefor approved by the Village Council and filed in the
<br />Village Clerk's Office.
<br />(2) The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to
<br />return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their
<br />bids, except the deposits of the successful bidder and the
<br />next two lowest bidders shall be retained until the contract
<br />has been signed.
<br />Adopted by the Village Council this 21st day of March, 1962,
<br />upon. motion by Warkentien, seconded by Stone and carried
<br />unanimously.

<br />Avenue by resurfacing Crawford Avenue and construction of
<br />curbs and gutters, bids were received, opened and tabulated
