<br />were M. J. Galvin, Village Attorney, Brad Lemberg, Village Engineer; Wm. E. Olsen,
<br />Treasurer; and Ethel E. ~`~hite, i~eputy Clerk and Deputy Treasurer.
<br />On motion by Stone, seconded by Shavor, it was voted to approve the ?~?inutes of
<br />i;~ay 9th as submitted.
<br />LICE_n?SI.S: On motion by Nilsen, seconded by Shavor, it was voted to
<br />annrove the following licenses to sell at retail Cigar-
<br />ettes, cigarette paper, and cigarette wrappers.

<br />Audit: Letter of July 10th from ?~4r. ~=.ginning of Haskins & Sells
<br />was read. It advised that r:4r, Olsen indicated that for
<br />the present the office of the State ?ublic Examiner would
<br />not take exceptions to the records currently maintained by
<br />the Village but reserved the right to take a different posi-
<br />tion after the Village becomes larger and it's operations more
<br />complex, He did indicate that he felt that the Village
<br />should maintain a memorandum record showing the compa§ition of
<br />it's fixed assets and receivables.
<br />Weeds:
<br />Inspector Wm. P. Carroll advised they were proceeding with
<br />the weed cutting on the Julia and Art Lindig properties.
<br />HeT~tes Business Complaint that water from the roof and alley of the Hermes
<br />Property: Business Property is draining into the abutting yards on
<br />St. `.?cry's, and that the dust from the parking lot is a big
