1793 <br />Bruneke claim; Copy of letter from H. P. Bruncke to Briggs and Morgan <br />was read. It advised, in part, claim for damages is <br />based upon tre unauthorized change in the street grade <br />and requested that the claim be considered still active, <br />offering to discuss the matter in person. <br />Snow plowing Letter. of August 6th from the County Commissioners was <br />County Roads: read. Their proposal to remove snow from the County Roads <br />in our Village is agreeable. <br />Street Letter of August 2nd from the .County Engineer was read. <br />Mileages Lemberg advised that all street mileage has been listed, <br />including Grove East and Grove West, and it will be (3. K. <br />for them to consider the previously reported mileage com- <br />plete and correct. <br />Snow Plowing The Deputy Clerk was instructed to request Village Engineers <br />Village Streets: to make arrangements with the County for snow and ice control <br />for the coming season. <br />Weed Cutting, It was moyed by_Nilsen, seconded by Shavor and voted to <br />Private Propertys certify the X38.00 cost of cutting the weeds on the Julia <br />Lindig property to the County auditor for collection with <br />her taxes. <br />Sewer Conner- The Deputy Clerk was instructed to ask Atty. Galvin to <br />tion: take action against any residents who have not connected to <br />the Village Sanitary Sewer line. <br />Sewer Correc- Nilsen moved that Engineer Lemberg be instructed to proceed <br />tion, 1157 Towa: with corrective action on the A. Chenoweth, Traffic Safety Engineer, <br />Ramsey County Highway Department, advising him we are ready <br />to proceed. with the installation of the mast arm, flashing <br />amber lights, at the cross walk located bet~reen .krona and <br />Snelling, on Larpenteur, and that the Council would appreciate <br />the Highway Department's participation in the cost inasmuch <br />as it is an improvement to a County Highway. Seconded by <br />Mortenson and carried. <br />Idaho-Snelling Stone moved that the engineer be authorized to take the <br />Playground: necessary steps to control the erosion of the spill way at <br />the Zdaho-Snelling Playground. Seconded by Nilsen and <br />carried. <br />Stone moved that the Engineer be authorized to obtain and <br />have delivered 30 yards of top soil to be levelled and <br />seeded by Village personnel, and to obtain the necessary <br />grass seed to seed the area under question. Seconded by <br />Shavor and carried. <br />
