<br />r~:4eeting was called to order at 7:00 P. ~,~., the following Council r,4embers being
<br />present: Harold C. Nilsen, T.gayor; W. A. T~iortenson, Clerk; C. P, Stone, Trustee;
<br />Willis i':~arkentien, Trustee. Also present were hf. J. Galvin, Village Attorney;
<br />Brad Lemberg, Village Engineer; and Ethel E. ti°Jhite, Deputy Clerk and Deputy
<br />Treasurer. Absent: Geo. Shavor, Trustee; and Vim. E. Olsen, Treasurer.
<br />Taxi Cab After discussion, Attorney Galvin was authorized to draw up a
<br />Grdinance: Taxi Cab Ordinance.
<br />Tic~nse: X11 requirements having been met, it was moved by Nilsen,
<br />seconded by Warkentien and voted to anorove the issuance of a
<br />Sewer Installer's License to Francis Wagner, Rose Plumbing,
<br />Roseville, Minnesota.
<br />Insurance Claim No. r,4C 75079, Date of Accident 9/1/62, other vehicle
<br />Settlement owned by Village of Roseville. ?~4idway Ford's bill in the amount
<br />Squad Car: of X98.01 was reviewed and General Release Submitted by Mutual
<br />Service Insurance Companies in the amount of X98.01 was signed
<br />and the deputy clerk instructed to return sane to Mutual Service
<br />Insurance Companies, 1919 University Avenue, St. Paul, Lt, Minn.
<br />Regional The Deputy Clerk was instructed to make reservations for the
<br />Meeting annual regional meeting and dinner to be held at the Holiday
<br />League of House, White Dear Lake, Minnesota, at 6:30 P. M., October 3rd,
<br />Minn. Mun.: for Shavor, Olsen, Mortenson, Nilsen, Galvin and Lemberg. War-
<br />kentien expects to be out of town. The Deputy Clerk to prepare
<br />check and give same to Clerk Mortenson.
<br />Street: L. Trana, 1911 Simpson requested the Village to black-toy a
<br />strip about 3' wide by 60' long where the bus cuts the corner
<br />at Rosela~m Rc Simpson. The matter was referred to Engineer
<br />Lemberg who will contact 3erthiume of the Ramsey County Highway
<br />.Department.
<br />Truck Storage: It was moved by Mortenson, seconded by Stone and voted to con-
<br />tinue to store the pick-up truck in Farmer's Union Garage at a
<br />rental of 410.00 a month through !t4ay of 1963, and that the
<br />Deputy Clerk so notify the Fire Department with a reminder May 1st.
<br />Variance, W. E. After discussion, it was moved by Warkentien, seconded by Stone
<br />Pipkorn, 1757 and voted to approve the following resolution:
<br />No. Hamline:
<br />WHEREAS, W. E. Pipkorn has made an application for a variance
<br />Hermit at 1757 No. Hamline, in the Village of Falcon Heights,
<br />and a copy of said variance is now on file in the office of the
<br />Clerk of said Village and. said application complies with the
<br />applicable ordinances, and
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of said Village has approved
<br />the variance and recommended the same to the Village Council
<br />NOfFt T~?EREFORE, be it resolved that said variance is hereby
<br />approved and the Clerk is instructed to forward a copy to the
