Beardsley, <br />and the reelected Trustee V~i11is Viarkentien. ~~ayor <br />Nilsen conducted the swearing in for ifii. A. l:7ortenson, <br />reelected Village Clerk. <br />T?eeting "lights: Because of the conflict of our regular council meet- <br />ing nights with the regular meeting night of the <br />Ramsey County heague of ?~~unicipalities the question <br />of change of meeting night was discussed, but no <br />change was decided on at this time. <br />Village Attorney '~. J. Galvin reported on the change in the law <br />Report; regarding tYie i~~~. unity of municinali ties for <br />liabilities. <br />Iowa Ave. Curb The following resolution on the Iowa Ave. Curb and <br />and Gutter: Gutter Imnrove^~ent was read; <br />RESOLUTIOAI DECLARIAIG COST TO ~ <br />ASSESSED IN ORDERING °REpAR.ATIGN OF <br />PRO?~OSED ASSESS~~EIvT <br />ti~'I'~REAS, a contract has been let for the im- <br />provement of Iowa Avenue by installation of concrete <br />curbs and gutters from the Snelling-Idaho Ponding <br />area to the East line of Hamline Avenue and the contract <br />nr:i_ce for such improvement is ^~?,K85.U0, and the ex~censes <br />incurred are to be incurred in the making of said im- <br />provement, amount to approximately ~1,000.C0 so that <br />the total cost of the improvement will be X9,585.00, <br />and of this cost the Village will nay ~70C.8? as its <br />share of the cost, <br />N0~°~ 'T'HEFi,EFORE, BE Im RESOLL'ED by +:he Village <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, ~,?innesota: <br />1 <br />(1) The cost of such im-~rovement +.,o be specially <br />assessed is hereby declared to be ~8,87l~.13.
