MINUTES REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING JANUARY 8, 1986 PAGE 3 '~ RESOLUTION R-86-4 - VACANCY ON COUNCIL Councilmember Chenoweth moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that Resolution R-86-~ be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. RESOLUTION R-86-4 A RESOLUTION RELATING TO A VACANCY ON THE FALCON HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL Council directed that the public be advised of the vacancy by publishing in the local newspapers and the council newsletter, and that February 14, 1986, 4:30 p.m. be the deadline for applications. PARKING FOR PAUL REVERE PIZZA TO BE DISCUSSED WITH PLANNER Dennis Hunt, owner of Bullseye Plaza, addressed Council regarding the designation of 18 parking slots for Paul Revere Pizza, and presented a memorandum From Paul Revere Pizza indicating the hours of operation and number of delivery people. Council agreed that the matter should be discussed, and directed the Clerk Administrator to arrange a meeting with the City Planner and Mr. Hunt, for the purpose of reviewing the parking. It was also suggested that the e_ode be amended to add a category applying to this type of business DEADLINE FOR AGENDA ITEMS STRESSED Council again stressed that information for agenda items must be received by the date the agenda is prepared and delivered if decisions are to be made on the items. ORDINANCE 0-86-1 - UNIFORM BUILDING CODE/PLAN CHECK FEES Mayor Baldwin moved, seconded by Councilmember Hard, that Ordinance 0-86-1 be adopted contingent upon approval by the Planning Commission. ORDINANCE 0-86-1 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AMENDING SECTION 9-2.15 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE 0-86-2 - FEES FOR LICENSES AND PERMITS Councilmember Hard moved, seconded by Councilmember Chenoweth, that Ordinance 0-86-2 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. ORDINANCE 0-86-2 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AMENDING SECTION 15-13.01, SUB- DIVISION 2 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA FULL TIME FIREFIGHTER DISCUSSION Council briefly discussed hiring of the full time firefighter and duties for the same. Councilmember Chenoweth will meet with Chief Renchin to discuss the matter and finalize a Sob description for presentation to Council. A workshop will then be scheduled if necessary.
