<br />MINUTES <br />REGULAR <br />APRIL 9, <br />PAGE 2 <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />19 86 <br />RESOLUTION R-86-14 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br />PROJECT SAP 62-626-02, ROSELAWN AVENUE, CLEVELAND TO 280 <br />PUBLIC HEARING ON ROSELAWN IMPROVEMENTS SCHEDULED FOR 5/14/86 <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, adoption of Resolution R-86-15 setting <br />a public hearing on the proposed Roselawn improvements for 7:15 p.m., May <br />14, 1986. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-15 <br />1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FORA PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED <br />IMPROVEMENT OF ROSELAWN AVENUE, CLEVELAND TO 280 <br />REMOVAL OF WOOD CHIPS FROM CITY HALL LANDSCAPING - TO BE REPLACED WITH <br />LAVA ROCK AND SOD <br />Barnes requested that Council consider authorizing removal of the wood <br />chip landscaping from City Hall property, replace the chips with lava <br />rock, remove the mound area at entrance to the building, and sod. <br />Following a short discussion Hard moved, seconded by Ciernia, <br />authorization of the recommended improvements. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />CONSTRUCTION PROBLEMS - COFFMAN, TATUM AND CRAWFORD/LARPENTEUR ALLEY <br />Sehunicht provided the following information relating to construction <br />pro~eets begun in 1985: 1) work will not be started on Tatum Street until <br />the load limits have been removed to prevent any damage to the new road <br />bed, 2) temporary repairs have been done on Coffman and any damage to the <br />street will be remedied by the contractor, and 3) Crawford/Larpenteur <br />alley is not satisfactory and corrective work will be done. <br />PROPOSED HOME OCCUPATION ORDINANCE DRAFT TO BE REVIEWED <br />Council will review the first draft of a proposed home occupation <br />ordinance, make suggestions, and refer to the attorney. <br />ON-SALE NON INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVED FOR CHINATOWN <br />RESTAURANT, 1533 W. LARPENTEUR <br />Baldwin presented an application from Chinatown Restaurant for an On-Sale <br />Non-Intoxicating Malt Liquor License together with a request that the fee <br />be prorated. Chenoweth moved, seconded by Ciernia, approval of the <br />license and proration of the fee. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REQUEST FROM BULLSEYE GOLF TO ERECT A SALES TENT ON PARKING LOT <br />Barnes explained that Dennis Hunt has requested permission to erect a tent <br />on the Bullseye parking lot for sales/promotion of the tenants in his <br />building. Council was in favor of the promotion providing Hunt makes a <br />request in writing indicating size of tent, number of parking spaces it <br />3 <br />
