MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCII. MEETING <br />APRIL 9, 1986 <br />PAGE 3 <br />will displace, number of other businesses participating, date and length <br />of sale. Upon receipt of this information Barnes will poll Council by <br />phone. <br />DEDUCTIBLE REQUIREMENT ON TREE TRIMMING/REMOVAL/TREATMENT INSURANCE TO BE <br />DELETED <br />Council briefly discussed the fact that tree removal firms are finding it <br />impossible or very costly to obtain the deductible amounts required by the <br />city (deductible amounts were determined in 1968). Chenoweth moved, <br />seconded by Ciernia, adoption of Ordinance 0-86-12 deleting the deductible <br />requirement but leaving the other insurance requirements in place. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE 0-86-12 <br />AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO AMENDING SECTION 8-4.03, <br />SUBD. 2(b) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO LICENSE <br />REQUIREMENTS FOR REMOVAL/TRIMMING/TREATMENT OF TREES <br />CITY TO PARTICIPATE IN ROSEVILLE HAZARDOUS WASTE COLLECTION <br />Leo Klisch, Chair of the Falcon Heights Solid Waste Advisory Committee, <br />was in attendance to request the City~s participation in Rosevillets <br />hazardous waste collection. He explained the program, stressed that the <br />Falcon Heights advisory group is attempting to obtain grant funds, and <br />requested that Council consider authorizing an expenditure of $1,400 to <br />participate in the Roseville hazardous waste program. Following a short <br />discussion Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, authorization of the <br />$1,400 for participation in the hazardous waste drop-off, such amount to <br />be taken from the Contingency fund. Motion carried unanimously.
