Motion carried. <br />IDAHO/SNELLING PLAYGROUND TO BE STRIPED <br />Ciernia explained the Park and Recreation Commission felt it was not <br />necessary to expend funds for green coating on the asphalt at the <br />playground, but did recommend the striping at a cost of $275.00. Council <br />authorized Barnes to arrange for the striping. <br />DISCUSSION - POSSIBLE DESIGNATION OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />Sohroeder presented a general overview of the latest legislation dealing <br />with establishment of economic development authorities and will draft a <br />summary of the information for Council review. <br />DISCUSSION - POSSIBLE PURCHASE OF USED BOBCAT FOR PUBLIC WORKS <br />Barnes explained the Public Works Dept. has had a used Bobcat on trial, <br />but he, personally, was not sure it would be wise to purchase the used <br />equipment at a price of $8,800 when new may be purchased for $12,640. <br />Council directed Barnes to obtain further information on the new <br />equipment. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, adjournment at 9:41 p.m. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />~~ ~//~~l~t~ <br />Tom Baldwin, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />' r/ ~~i~~-~- <br />Dewan B.
