MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 11, 1986 <br />PAGE 2 <br />MEETING <br />RICHARD WINKEL, 1825 FAIRVIEW, indicated he was not in favor of houses in <br />that area but was more comfortable with the manner in which Council has <br />approached it this year. <br />REYA KURTZ, 1805 FAIRVIEW, expressed concern over the water which would be <br />directed toward their property, and Schunicht explained a sump manhole <br />would be connected by pipe to the existing storm sewer and the amount of <br />water to the Kurtz property would be less than before. <br />IRENE MACGREGOR, 1795 FAIRYIEVi, stated that with the fill brought into the <br />lots developed in 1985 water runs into her property creating ditches. She <br />asked that Council give her subdivision request preliminary approval and <br />refer matter to the Planning Commission in view of the fact that there is <br />no ordinance violation. <br />Hard referred to the Comprehensive Plan relating to preservation of open <br />space. <br />SUBDIVISION REQUESTS FROM MACGREGOR, 1795 FAIRVIEW, LIN, 1785 FAIRVIEW, <br />REFERRED TO PLANNING COMMISSION - PUBLIC HEARING SCHEDULED FOR 7/9/86 <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, referral of the two subdivision <br />requests to the Planning Commission (MacGregor, 1795 Fairview and Lin, <br />1785 Fairview) and scheduling of the Public Hearing for July g, 1986, 7:15 <br />p.m. Upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: <br />Baldwin, Wallin, Ciernia, and Chenoweth, and the following voted against <br />. the same: Hard (felt it to be in conflict with Comprehensive Plan). <br />Motion carried. <br />GROVE PARK IMPROVEMENTS APPROVED <br />Ciernia reviewed the effect on the park by construction of 1666 Coffman, <br />and explained the Park and Recreation Commission, developers of 1666 <br />Coffman, and Grove Assooiation had worked together to develop plans for <br />rebuilding and upgrading the park. <br />MARY ANN WARK, representing the Grove Association, presented detailed <br />information on park location, history of planning for the upgrading, and <br />proposed site improvements and equipment placement. <br />PAT BUSH, Park and Recreation Director, presented the proposed allocation <br />of costs to 1666 Coffman, Park Development Fund, Park and Recreation <br />budget and city funds. <br />Following a discussion Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, acceptance of <br />the plan as proposed including funding as presented. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />PRESENTATION OF PROPOSED SITE PLAN FOR PREPARE/ENRICH BUILDING, 2061 W. <br />LARPENTEUR AND REFERRAL TO PLANNING COMMISSION <br />David Olson, owner of Prepare/Enrich, and City Planner Uban reviewed the <br />latest site plan for a proposed office building at 2061 W. Larpenteur. <br />Following a discussion relating to parking, exchange/sale of property, and <br />whether or not the configuration should be changed requiring variances, <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Ciernia, referral of the plan to the Planning <br />4~ <br />
