MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JUNE 11, 1986 <br />PAGE 3 <br />Commission. Motion carried unanimously. Barnes was directed to compile a <br />list of items to be discussed with the developer and arrange a meeting, <br />such meeting to be attended by the developer, Barnes, Baldwin, and any <br />other interested Councilmembers. <br />NO ACTION TAKEN ON LICENSE APPLICATION FROM HIGHLAND PARK TREE SERVICE <br />Council briefly reveiwed a request from Highland Park Tree Service for a <br />tree removal/trimming license and there being no documentation to remove <br />concerns expressed in November of 1985 when a license was denied, no <br />action was taken. <br />Schunicht presented bids for 1986 Sealcoating (northeast quadrant) as <br />follows: Allied Blacktop, Inc, $49,261.70, Bituminous Roadways, <br />$49,863.30, and Buffalo Bituminous, $48,442.50, and recommended awarding <br />the bid to the low bidder Buffalo Bituminous. Chenoweth moved, seconded <br />by Hard, adoption of Resolution R-86-27. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-27 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO AWARDING THE BID FOR 1986 <br />SEALCOATING <br />PARTIAL PAYMENT TO AUSTIN P. KELLER CONSTRUCTION APPROVED (TATUM/COFFMAN) <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Hard, partial payment in the amount of <br />$55,561.96 to Austin P. Keller Construction for Coffman/Tatum <br />Improvements. Motion carried unanimously. <br />LIDO CAFE ON-SALE AND SUNDAY LIQUOR LICENSE APPROVED. <br />Hard moved, seconded by Ciernia, approval of the 1986-1987 On-Sale and <br />Sunday Liquor License for Lido Cafe, 1611 W. Larpenteur. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />SHAKEY'S PIZZA WINE LICENSE APPROVED <br />Hard moved, seconded by Ciernia, approval of the 1986-1987 Wine License <br />for Shakey's Pizza, 1552 W. Larpenteur. Motion carried unanimously. <br />HIRING OF FULL TIME FIREFIGHTER/PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICER DEFERRED TO 6/25/86 <br />Baldwin explained that due to a misunderstanding one of the applicants was <br />not available to be interviewed at this meeting and deferred the matter to <br />June 25, 1986 at 6:30 p.m. Baldwin also requested that prior to the <br />meeting Council be provided with a written recommendation/report from both <br />Barnes and the consultants. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-28 RELATING TO OLDER ADULT HOME-SHARE PROGRAM <br />Hard moved, seconded by Ciernia, adoption of Resolution R-86-28.
