Motion carried <br />unanimously. Barnes was directed to determine an approprtiate levy to <br />establish a fund. <br />COFFMAN/TATUM IMPROVEMENTS UPDATE <br />Sehunicht reviewed his report dated August 7, 1986 (a copy of which is on <br />file in the clerks office) relating to the Coffman/Tatum improvements <br />which are now complete. <br />REQUEST TO BARRICADE IDAHO, PASCAL TO ARONA, ON 9/13/86 FOR BLOCK PARTY <br />APPROVED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, approving a request from Eleanor Chu, <br />1490 Idaho, to barricade Idaho, Pascal to Arona, on 9/13/86 for a block <br />party. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION RELATING TO WILLIAMS PIPELINE DEFERRED TO 8/27/86 <br />Council briefly discussed a proposed resolution based on a resolution <br />adopted by the City of Roseville, after which staff was directed to <br />rewrite the resolution and place the item on the agenda for 8/27/86 <br />AMBULANCE TO PROVIDE EMERGENCY COVERAGE FOR MARATHON FOR NON-PUBLIC <br />EDUCATION ON 10/4/86 <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Hard, approval of a request from Nazareth <br />Council No. 4021 that the city ambulance provide emergency coverage for <br />the Marathon for Non-Public Education on October 4, 1986. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />COUNCIL TO REQUEST HEARING ON HARVEST STATES REQUEST FOR TAX ABATEMENT <br />Following a brief discussion regarding a letter dated August 4, 1986 from <br />the State Department of Revenue informing Harvest States Cooperative has <br />filed an application for reduction in the assessed valuation of their <br />property, Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, requesting a hearing on the <br />matter. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REQUEST FROM JOHN CARVES, 1775 N. SNELLING, FOR REIMBURSEMENT FOR SEPTIC <br />TANK CAVE-IN DENIED <br />Council reviewed a letter from John Carnes, 1775 N. Snelling, dated July <br />28, 1986 requesting the City pay for filling his septic tank after a <br />cave-in, after which Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, denial of the <br />request. Motion carried unanimously. <br />PUBLIC HEARING FOR ASSESSMENT OF DELINQUENT SANITARY SEWER CHARGES SET FOR <br />SEPTEMBER 10, 1986, 7:15 P.M. <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, scheduling of the public hearing on <br />assessment of delinquent sanitary sewer charges for September 10, 1986 at <br />7:15 P.M.
