MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 10, 1986 <br />PAGE 2 <br />ANIMAL CONTROL CONTRACT FOR 1987 APPROVED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of the animal control contract with <br />Lake Animal Care, Inc. for the year 1987. Motion carried unanimously. <br />TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM FIRE DEPARTMENT EQUIPMENT BUDGET TO EDUCATION FUND <br />APPROVED <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of a request from Terry Iverson, to <br />transfer $300.00 from the Fire Department Equipment Fund to the Education <br />Fund. Motion carried unanimously. <br />7:15 PUBLIC HEARING ON UNIVERSITY GROVE STREET LIGHTING REPAIRS <br />Baldwin opened the public hearing at 7:15 and presented the Affidavits of <br />Publication and Mailing. <br />DAVID BRYAN, 2141 HOYT, asked what repairs the assessment covered and was <br />informed the assessment is for repairs to the ornamental lights and transformer <br />which Northern States Power will not service. <br />There being no others wanting to be heard Baldwin closed the hearing at 7:20 <br />P.M. Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, adoption of Resolution R-86-36. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-36 <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR STREET LIGHT <br />REPAIRS IN AUDITORS SUBDIVISION 71 AND 90 IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$1,817.64 <br />RESOLUTION RELATING TO REOPENING OF FALCON HEIGHTS SCHOOL ADOPTID <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, adoption of Resolution R-86-37. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-86-37 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO REOPENING FALCON HEIGHTS <br />ELEMENTARY SCHOOL <br />PICTURE OF FALCON HEIGHTS SCHOOL TO BE LOANED TO SCHOOL <br />Cierna commented on the picture of Falcon Heights School, which was hanging in <br />the school before it was closed, and has been in the lobby of city hall in <br />recent years. He felt with reopening it would be a nice gesture to allow the <br />school to display the picture. Ciernia moved, seconded by Wallin, loaning the <br />picture to the school.
