MINUTERS <br />REGULAR CITYCOUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 10, 1986 <br />PAGE 4 <br />MEETING <br />advantages to the Fire Marshal. Chenoweth explained Iverson has expressed <br />a willingness to negotiate a salary modification if he is allowed to <br />participate in the plan. Following a discussion, it was agreed Baldwin <br />and Chenoweth should negotiate with Iverson regarding the salary <br />modification (approximately 2y) with the goal being to not disturb <br />Iverson's net pay and still be equitable with the other employees. <br />ACCEPTANCE OF MARKET ANALYSIS PPREPARED BY JAMES M. MCCOMBS & ASSOCIATES <br />Following a brief discussion, Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, <br />acceptance of the Market Analysis prepared by James M. McComb and <br />Associates, and authorization of payment of $856.75 for their rebuttal of <br />Planner John Uban's report. Motion carried unanimously. <br />WORKSHOP WITH MN/DOT ON SNELLING AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION SCHEDULED FOR <br />JANUARY 21, 1987, 7:00 P.M. <br />Council agreed to hold a workshop on January 21, 1987, 7:00 P.M., with <br />representatives of the Minnesota Department of Transportation regarding <br />Snelling Avenue reconstruction. <br />BONESTR00 & ASSOCIATES CHARGES DEDUCTED FOR ENGINEERING ON ALLEY RUNNING <br />FROM ALBERT TO HAMLINE <br />Council discussed the latest engineering charges for inspection of the <br />alley south of Larpenteur running from Albert to Hamline in the amount of <br />$156.00 and concurred it should not be paid as the alley is not <br />satisfactory. Baldwin moved, seconded by Wallin, deduction of the <br />$156.00. Motion carried unanimously. Barnes was directed to draft a <br />letter explaining Council's policy on the alley, ie., upon receipt of <br />plans for correcting the alley 50% will be paid, and upon satisfactory <br />completion of the reconstruction the remaining 50% will be paid. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, adjournment at 8:54 P.M.
