MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 14, 1987 <br />PAGE 2 <br />CONTRACTUAL DESIGNATIONS <br />Baldwin moved, seconded by Ciernia, the following contractual <br />designations: (1) Gene Pakoy, Mechanical Engineer, (2) Dick Larson, <br />Building Inspector, (3) Richard Alquist, Plumbing Inspector, and (.4) Scott <br />Enebak, Horticulturist. Motion carried unanimously. <br />COUNCIL ASSIGNMENTS APPROVED <br />Baldwin moved, seconded by Ciernia, approval of the Council assignments as <br />presented. Motion carried unanimously. <br />DESIGNATION OF ROSEVILLE FOCUS AS OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER <br />Baldwin moved, seconded by Chenoweth, designating the Roseville Focus as <br />the official newspaper for 1987. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REQUEST FROM G. C. ENGLUND, 1395 W. CALIFORNIA, FOR SEWER PENALTY <br />ABATEMENT DENIED <br />Following a short discussion, Baldwin moved, seconded by Chenoweth, denial <br />of a request from G. C. Englund, 1395 W. California, for abatement of a <br />$1.90 sanitary sewer penalty. Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESIGNATION OF KEITH MODERSON FROM PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, acceptance of the resignation of Keith <br />Moderson from the Park and Recreation Commission. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-87-4 RELATING TO DESIGNATION OF STATE AID FUNDS FOR OPTICOM <br />AT LARPENTEUR AND SNELLING AVENUES <br />Hard moved, seconded by Wallin, adoption of Resolution R-87-4. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-87-4 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF STATE <br />AID FUNDS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE INSTALLATION OF <br />AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE PRE-EMPTION SYSTEM ON T.H. 51 <br />(SNELLING AVENUE) AND COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY N0.30 <br />(LARPENTEUR AVENUE) <br />RESOLUTION R-87-5 AUTHORIZING MN/DOT TO ACT FOR THE CITY ON FEDERAL AID <br />ROAD PROJECTS <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Chenoweth, the adoption of Resolution R-87-5. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-87-5 <br />A RESOLUTION RELATING TO MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT <br />OF TRANSPORTATION FEDERAL AID FORM III <br />PROPOSED RESOLUTION APPROVING SNELLING AVENUE PLANS DEFERRED TO 1/28/87 <br />MEETING <br />~~ <br />
