MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />FEBRUARY 11, 1987 <br />PAGE 3 <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Hard, adoption of Resolution R-87-10. Motion <br />carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-87-10 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF $912.04 TO <br />ASHBACH CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR RECONSTRUCTION OF THE <br />ALLEY BETWEEN LARPENTEUR AND CRAWFORD, RUNNING FROM <br />ARONA TO SNELLING AVENUE <br />APPROVAL OF CHANGE ORDER N0. 1 - DELETION OF MAJORITY OF FORD STREET STORM <br />SEWER IMPROVEMENTS <br />Baldwin explained that due to an oversight, the change order deleting some <br />items from the the Ford Right-Of-Way storm drainage improvement (which was <br />included in the Larpenteur/Coffman/Tatum project) had not been officially <br />approved or signed, and it should be formalized at this time. Ciernia <br />moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of the change order. Motion carried <br />unanimously. <br />FINAL PAYMENT TO AUSTIN P. KELLER CONSTRUCTION -RESOLUTION R-87-11 <br />Ciernia moved, seconded by Chenoweth, adoption of Resolution R-87-11. <br />Motion carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION R-87-11 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF $11,191.10 TO <br />AUSTIN P. KELLER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY FOR THE COFFMAN/TATUM <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS RELEASE OF THE RETAINER IN THE AMOUNT OF <br />$28,725.89 <br />PLANNING COMMISSION RE APPOINTMENTS <br />Wallin moved, seconded by Hard, reappointment of David Black, Donald <br />Grittner, and Carolyn Nestingen, to the Planning Commission for three year <br />terms. Motion carried unanimously. <br />APPOINTMENT OF DOUG KAYSER, 1759 PLEASANT, LAUDERDALE TO FIRE/RESCUE <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, appointment of Doug Kayser to the <br />Fire/Rescue Department subject to the required physical and one year <br />probation period. Motion carried unanimously. <br />REVISED SICK LEAVE AND VACATION SCHEDULE FOR FULL TIME EMPLOYEES APPROVED <br />Council briefly discussed the latest revision of proposed changes in the <br />sick leave and vacation schedules after which Hard moved, seconded by <br />Ciernia, approval of the schedule as amended. Upon a vote being taken the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Baldwin, Ciernia, Wallin and Hard, and <br />the following voted against the same: None. Chenoweth abstained.
