MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MARCH 25, 1987 <br />PAGE 3 <br />CODE AMENDMENT RELATING TO STORM DRAINAGE UTILITY FEES <br />Council reviewed the staff memo dated March 20th explaining no storm <br />drainage fee has been established for the University fields and golf <br />course. Following a discussion Chenoweth moved, seconded by Hard, that <br />Ordinance No. 0-87-2 be adopted. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ORDINANCE 0-87-2 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART 6, SECTION 3-6.02 OF THE <br />MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING STORM DRAINAGE UTILITY <br />FEE FOR GOLF COURSES AND OPEN UNDEVELOPED AREAS <br />POSSIBLE ENLARGEMENT OF STORM SEWER PIPE ON LARPENTEUR, ARONA TO ST. <br />MARY'S DEFERRED TO 4/8/87 <br />Council discussed Terry Maurer's March 23rd letter regarding enlarging the <br />storm sewer on Larpenteur, Arona to St. Mary's, in conjunction with the <br />Snelling Avenue construction, agreed it might be appropriate to have the <br />work done at this time, and concurred the pipe should be put into use if <br />constructed. Council directed the engineer to estimate the cost of <br />including catch basins in the project, and estimate how much the City will <br />save by doing the work with the Snelling project. The matter will be <br />discussed further at the April 8, 1987 meeting. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Hard moved, seconded by Chenoweth, adjournment at 9:25 P.M.
