MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />APRIL 8, 1987 <br />Ciernia opened the meeting at 7:00 P.M. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Present: Ciernia, Chenoweth, Wallin and Hard. Also in attendance were <br />Barnes and Maurer. <br />Absent: Baldwin (arrived later.) <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED WITH DELETION AND ADDENDUM <br />Chenoweth moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of the Consent Agenda with <br />the deletion of the Briggs and Morgan Statement for Services through <br />February 28, 1987, and addition of Item 10, Planning Commission Minutes of <br />April 6, 1987. Motion carried unanimously. <br />ADDENDUM TO AGENDA <br />Hard moved, seconded by Chenoweth, addition of the following item to the <br />agenda: Item 5(h), Consider Establishing a Salary for Cable TV Access <br />Technicians. Motion carried unanimously. <br />MINUTES OF MARCH 25, 1987 APPROVED <br />Hard moved, seconded by Wallin, approval of the Minutes of March 25, <br />1987. Motion carried unanimously. <br />APPROVAL OF VARIANCE REQUEST FROM LEE SIMONS, 1811 N. PASCAL <br />Wallin presented a variance request from Lee Simons, 1811 Pascal, to <br />construct an addition to his residence, such addition to be four feet from <br />the lot line, and explained the Planning Commission had unanimously <br />approved the request. Hard moved, seconded by Wallin, granting the <br />variance. Motion carried unanimously <br />APPROVAL OF PERMITTED ACCESSORY USE FOR UTILITY BUILDING AND VARIANCE ON <br />GARAGE EXXTENSION, FROM LEO KLISCH, 1757 FRY ST. <br />Wallin explained the Planning Commission had unanimously approved a <br />request from Leo Klisch, 1757 Fry St, to construct a utility building, and <br />a variance request to extend his garage length 8 feet, such addition to be <br />6 feet from the lot line. Chenoweth moved, seconded by Hard, approval of <br />both requests. Motion carried unanimously. <br />NO ACTION NECESSARY ON PROPOSED ENLARGEMENT OF LARPENTEUR STORM SEWER, <br />ARONA TO ST. MARY'S <br />Maurer informed Council he had again met with Ramsey County on the <br />proposed storm sewer enlargement, that the County feels there is an <br />existing facility on the west side of Snelling which could be utilized, <br />the County is anticipating upgrading Larpenteur beginning in 1988, and <br />will be preparing a feasibility study on the project which includes storm <br />dra inage.
