MINUTES <br />REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />JANUARY 13, 1988 <br />At 7:00 P.M. Wiessner administered the oath of office to Mayor Tom <br />Baldwin, and Baldwin administered the oath of office to newly elected <br />Council Members Pat Bush and Gerald Wallin. <br />Mayor Baldwin opened the regular meeting at 7:10 P.M. <br />ALL MEMBERS PRESENT <br />Wallin, Ciernia, P. Chenoweth, Bush, and Baldwin. Also present were <br />Wiessner, Gedde, and S. Chenoweth. <br />MINUTES OF DECEMBER 9, 1987 <br />Council approved the Minutes of December 9, 1987 as presented. <br />ADDENDUM TO AGENDA <br />Council added Item F(14), Larpenteur/Prior/Gortner Intersection, to the <br />Policy Agenda. <br />CONSENT AGENDA APPROVED <br />I~ <br />Council approved the Consent Agenda as follows: <br />1. Licenses <br />PROPOSED ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION OF CITY CODE RELATING TO FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />Jay McNabb, representing the Fire Department, explained that the proposed <br />revision is being requested to more accuragely reflect the actual <br />procedure followed by the Department in selecting the Chief and Assistant <br />Chiefs, i.e., elected by the Department subject to Council approval. <br />Following a brief discussion Chenoweth moved adoption of Ordinance 0-1-88 <br />which Council approved unanimously. <br />~' <br />
