MINUTES <br />JULY 14 , 19 8 9 <br />PAGE 3 <br />M-75 BUILDING MAINTENANCE SERVICE <br />Wiessner explained that there have been some problems with the <br />present cleaning service, ie. missed cleans, poor work, etc., <br />and, therefore, bids were requested from other cleaning firms. <br />After evaluating the eight bids received, Staff recommended <br />signing a contract with M-75 Building Maintenance Service based <br />on cost and favorable references. Council concurred. <br />ADMINISTRATOR'S EMPLOYMENT AGREEMENT AMENDED <br />Baldwin commented on Council's favorable assessment of the <br />Administrator's work in the past year and recommended that the <br />salary be increased to $41,500 annually, retroactive to the <br />anniversary date. Also discussed were changes in sections of <br />the agreement relating to vacation time and insurance benefits <br />to be in compliance with the benefits offered other employees. <br />Following the discussion, Wallin moved approval of the salary <br />increase and amendment of the vacation and insurance items in <br />the agreement. Motion carried unanimously. <br />WORKSHOP WITH PARK AND RECREATION COMMISSION SCHEDULED FOR <br />7:00 P.
