'.~i <br />~. <br />,, :.. <br />- .;f: <br />RESOLUTION FOR APPROVAL OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIOPJS <br />FOR VILLAGE HALL AND FIRE STATION <br />Plans and specifications for the construction of the combined Village Hall and <br />Fire Station were submitted to the meeting, and after the Council had carefully <br />examined and considered said plans and specifications, TRUSTEE SHAVOR moved the <br />adoption of the following resolution; <br />RESOLVED, that the plans and specifications for the construction of a <br />combined Village Hall and Fire Station submitted at this meeting be, <br />and the same are, hereby ordered filed with Trustee John R• Rysgaard, <br />and that the said plans and specifications be, and the same are, hereby <br />approved and adopted as the plans and specifications for the combined <br />Village Hall and Fire Station to be erected in the Village. <br />RESOLVED FURTHER, that the Village Clerk be, and he is hereby authorized <br />and directed to advertise for bids for the construction of the said combined <br />Village gall and Fire Station in accordance with the plans ans specifications <br />aforesaid, and that bids for the construction of said combinod vllaso Iraa.i <br />and Fire Station be opened and considered at a meeting of the Council t o be <br />held at the Town Hall, Hamline and County Road B~ on the 31st day of May, <br />1949, at the hour of 8:00 o+clock P.M., of which meeting all members present <br />hereby accept notice, and to which date and hour the present meeting shall <br />stand adjourned.; that the advertisement for bids shall be in the following <br />form: <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF <br />COMBINATION VILLAGE HALL AND FIRE STATION <br />Notice is hereby given that bids will b e r eceived by John R'. Rysgaard, <br />Trustee of the Village of Falcon Heights, at his home at 1744 North Pascal <br />Avenue, in the Village of Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, for <br />the construction of a combination Village Hall and Fire Station according <br />to plans and specifications on file at the above address. Every bid shall <br />be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked ++Proposal for Combination Village <br />Hall and Fire Station Contract, Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, ++ and <br />shall be accompanied by a certified check in the amount of 3~ of the amount <br />bid conditioned upon the entrance into a contract and furnishing a proper <br />bond if the bid is accepted. <br />Bias will be opened and considered by the Village Council at a meeting to <br />be held on the 31st day of May, 1949, at the Town Hall, Hamline and County <br />Road B, at 8:00 o+clock P.M. The Village Council reserves the right to re- <br />ject any and all bids. Checks of all unsuccessful bidders will be returned. <br />i er <br />that said advertisement be published once a week for two weeks prior to the <br />31st day of May, 1949, in the St. Paul Dispatch, the last publication of which <br />shall be at least one week before the 31st day of May, 1949, and that the said <br />advertisement for bids be posted in three of the most public places in the <br />said Village, a t least 10 days before the day appointed for the reception and <br />consideration of said bids. <br />
