i <br />a.. <br />Designate newspaper The following resolution, moved by Lindig, seconded by <br />for publication of Stewart, was adopted unanimously: <br />notices. RESOLVED, that the St. Paul Dispatch, a legal newspaper ' <br /> of general circulation in the Village of Falcon Heights, be <br /> designated as the official newspaper of the Village of Falcon <br /> Heights, in which shall be published such ordinances and other <br />• matters as are required by law to be so published and such <br /> other matters as the council may deem it advisable and in the <br /> public interest to have published in this manner. <br />Ordinance No. 1 Stewart moved, seconded by Shavor, adoption of the following.: <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 1 - <br /> AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE FSZABLISHP~NT AND GOVERNMENT <br /> OF A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br /> Carried by unanimous vote. <br />Three way Volunteer Lindig moved, seconded by Shavor, approval of the three-way <br />Fire Department contract volunteer fire department contract, substituting the Village <br /> of Falcon Heights for the Town of Rose. Carried. <br />Village to cancel three- Lindig moved that the clerk be instructed to notify the Vill- <br />way Fire Department age of Roseville and the Village of Lauderdale that the Vill- <br />contract. age of Falcon Heights is cancelling the three way fire pro- <br /> tection contract, effective June 30, 199• Seconded by Shavor <br /> and carried by unanimous vote. <br />Harry Anderson to Matteson moved appointment of Harry Anderson as appraiser <br />appraise fire of fire equipment for the Village of Falcon Heights, pursuant <br />? equipment. to Sec. 1113.072 of the Minnesota Statutes, and that the clerk <br /> request the Village of Lauderdale and Village of Roseville <br />', to appoint appraisers and to proceed to appraise the property <br /> under the statute.
