RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ISSUAidCE OF BONDS
<br />RESOLVED, by the Council of the Village of Falcon Heights,
<br />Minnesota, as follows:
<br />1. That the Council of
<br />sots, hereby determines that it

<br />s bonds in the sum of Forty Thousand
<br />authorized to be issued by the Village
<br />said Village at an election duly
<br />of .rtpril, 1949, for a combination
<br />~e issued and sold by the Village.
<br />2. That the said bonds bear date the first day of September,
<br />1949, be in denominations of One Thousand Dollars each, and bear
<br />interest at the rate specified by the successful bidder for said
<br />bonds, not exceeding, however, 4~ per annum, payable semi-annually;
<br />that the said bonds shall mature serially on the first day of Sep-
<br />tember in each of the years and in the amounts following, to-wit:
<br />4,000.00 in 1951 X5,000.00 in 1956
<br />4,000.00 in 1952 5,000.00 in 1957
<br />4,000.00 in 1953 5,000.00 in 1958
<br />4,000.00 in 1954 5,000.00 in 1959
<br />4,000.00 in 1955
<br />3. All bonds maturing on or subsequent to Septemi~er 1, 1956,
<br />shall be subject to redemption upon any interest payment date on or
<br />` after September 1, 1954, at par,and accrued interest, upon the Village
<br />giving thirty days' notice of such redemption in the official news-
<br />paper of .the said Village, specifying by number and maturity the bond.

<br />4. That the Council of the said Village meet at the old Rose
<br />Town Hall, Hemline and County Road B on the 9th day of August, 1949,
<br />at 7:30 o'clock P.M., for the purpose of receiving, opening, consider-
<br />ing and acting upon the sealed bids for the purchase of said bonds.
<br />5. The Deputy Village Clem is hereby authorized and directed
<br />to give at least ten days' notice of the sale of said bonds by publica~
<br />tion of a notice thereof in the St. Paul Legal Ledger, the official
<br />newspaper of said Village and in The Commercial West, a weekly finan-
<br />cial periodical published in the City of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
<br />6. That the Notice to Bidders be in substantially the f ollow-
<br />ing form:

<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That the Council of the Villa ge of
<br />Faleon Heights, Minnesota, will meet at the old Rose Town Hall,
<br />Hemline and County Road B, on the 9th day of August, 1949, at 7:30
<br />o'clock P.M. for the purpose of receiving, opening, considering and
<br />acting upon sealed bids for the purchase of Forty Thousand Dollars
<br />040,000.00) of the bonds of said Village, said bonds being issued and
<br />sold for the purpose of constructing a combination Village Ball and
<br />Fire Station for the said Village. Said bonds shall bear date the
