Rysgaard <br /> was to work with Buetow and H. E. Anderson regarding specifica- <br /> tions for the siren. <br />Additional purchases The Fire Protection Committee recommended also that we purchase <br />for fire department. another oxygen mask at approximately X125 and 7 more sets of <br />jackets, coats, and hats at approximately X33 a set. The <br />council asked the committee to prepare a list of the equipment <br />which it felt would be necessary to purchase during the coming <br />year. <br />Firemen Relief Tax Frank Graham was asked to check the question which was raised <br />regarding the 1/10 mill firemen relief tax. <br />Iowa Turn-around Seaborn reported he had checked with the County Engineer's <br />office regarding a possible reduction in the size of the turn- <br />: around on Iowa and it was the recommendation of the county <br />engineeris office that the turn-around be shaped in an ~Ln <br />rather than a ++T'+ and the north 50 feet of Lot ,2 be used. <br />Off-sale beer license E• B. Rowley reported he had received a check for X17.00 from <br />for National Tea the National Tea with a request for an off-sale beer license <br />and a cigarette license. Rysgaard moved that the license be <br />granted to the National Tea and that the Mayor and the Deputy <br />Clerk be authorized to execute them.
