A hear- <br /> ing on Plaintiff is motion for atemps- <br /> rary injunction will be head on Septem- <br /> b®r 8, 1949, and Attorney Graham was in- <br /> structed to prepare necessary papers • <br />Rezoning by U.of M. Mayor Matteson presented two requests for <br /> rezoning by the University of Minnesota, <br /> dated August 30, 1949, covering property <br /> on Snelling southof Ho Ilywood Cart and <br /> on Larpenteur west of the proposed Village <br /> Hall and Fire Department. Mr. Lindig moved <br /> in accordance with Se ction 12 (e) of <br /> Ordinance #2 that the Council set Tuesday, <br /> September 2,'i, 1949, at 8:00 p.m. as the <br /> date for a public hearing regarding the <br /> rezoning, and that the Deputy Clerk be <br /> directed to post notices as required by <br /> the Ordinance • Motion seconded by Shavor. <br /> Motion carried. <br />Sale of Bonds Ralph Van Hoven, Treasurer., reported that <br /> the Village Hall and Fire Station Bands and <br /> the Fire Equipment Bonds had been de livered <br /> to the purchaser and that cheeks for the <br /> proceeds thereof had been deposited. Mr• <br /> iaindig moved that the Treasurer be order- <br /> ed and directed to credit the proceeds <br /> from Village Hall and Fire Department <br /> Bonds to a new fund known as`d"Village <br /> Ball and Fire Station Construction Fund", <br /> and to credit the proceeds ~' the Fire <br /> Equipment Bonds t o the "Fire Equipment <br /> Fund" • Motion seconded by Rysgaard. Motion <br /> carried. <br />Iegal Newspaper Lindig moved and Shavor seconded that the <br /> following resolution be adopted: "Resolved: <br /> That The Resolution Passed By The Village <br /> Council On May 24, 1949 Designating the St . <br /> Paul Le al Led er As The Official Newspaper <br /> The. V ge Falcon Heights , Be , And <br /> Hereby Is, Rescinded, And Resolved Further <br /> That The dhite Bear Press, A Legal Newspaper <br /> Of General C3'rcu .a ion n The Village Of <br /> Falcon Heights, be Designated As The Official <br /> Newspaper Of The .,Village Of Falcon Heights, <br /> In ~~Ihich Sha11 Be Published Such Ordinances <br /> And Other Matters As Are Required By Law <br /> To Be So Published, And Such Other Matters <br /> As The Council ~y Deem It Adviseable In <br />
