Rysgaard <br />Absent: Ralph Van Hoven <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p. m. by Mayor Matteson. <br />Bids on Siren Harry Anderson reported on bids for siren and <br />said :Veber &Troseth we~g considered low bidder <br />at X425.00. Upon motion Trustee Shavor and <br />second by Trustee Lizidig, the following reso- <br />lution was unanimously adopted: Resolved: That <br />the bid of Jeber &Troseth to supply One 5 HP, <br />3 phase, General Fire Alarm Siren, 220 Volt, <br />60 cycle, including remote control and equipped <br />according to plans and specifications for X425.00, <br />be, and the same is hereby accepted, said 'leber <br />&Troseth being the lowest responsible bidder, <br />and that the Mayor and Deputy Clerk be, and. they <br />hereby are authorized and directed to execute <br />contract for the said purchase for the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, said contract to be in such <br />form as the Village Attorney shall approve, and <br />that the Deputy Clerk,.: be, and Yie is hereby dire ct - <br />ed to notify the unsuccessful bidders and to re- <br />turn their deposits to them. Motion carried. <br />Bids on Hose Upon motion by Trustee Shavor and second by Trustee <br />Dryer Lindig the following resolution was unanimously <br />adopted: Resolved: that the bid of ~deber & <br />Troseth to supply One Electric Fire Hose Dryer, <br />500 capacity, 220 Volt, 60 cycle, according to '. <br />plans and specifications for 550.00, be, and <br />the same is hereby accepted, said 'Veber &Troseth <br />Co. being the--lowest responsible bidder, and <br />the bZayor and Deputy Clerk be, and they hereby <br />are authorized and directed to execute contract <br />for the said purchase for the Village of Falcon <br />Heights, said contract to be in such form. as the <br />Village Attorney shall approve, and that the Dep- <br />uty Clerk be, and. he is hereby directed to notify <br />the unsuccessful bidders and return their deposits <br />to them. Motion carried. <br />Hearing-- Continued hee~ring opened on the University Property <br />University on Snelling avenue from Hollywood Court to Fair <br />Property Grounds. Mr. Bradford reported that the Urri.versity <br />wished to change its request so that the north <br />150 feet would be rezoned Residence District A, <br />and the balance Residence District C. Mr. Newman, <br />1598 Hollywood Court, said this was a surprise <br />change; still wants to protest to change of re- <br />zoning; tyrants more time to talk over with other <br />members • Mr- H.
