Julen, 1498 Iarpenteur, stated he would <br />like to keep it a neighborhtiod district, further <br />stating that he has no connection with the <br />University of Minnesota. A. Ackermann, 1604 <br />V. Le.rpenteur stated he was living in a resi- <br />dential district and. does not want flat build- <br />ings iri his block. Mr. Matteson then declared <br />a five minute recess. <br />Mr. Graham advised that the University would <br />have to file anew request for rezoning, embody- <br />ing the change requested and that anew hearing <br />on the new request would have to be had. <br />Mr. Bradford. then withdrew the original request, <br />stating that he would prepare anew one covering _ by 3havor <br />the ammended request. Upon motion the following seconded <br />resolution was unanimously adopted: Resolved: <br />That the ~Urliversity of Minnesota be, and it by Lindig, <br />hereby is ,: permitted to withdraw without pre ju- <br />dice its request for rezoning of property on <br />Snelling avenue, dated August 30, 1949. <br />Dumping Problem N1r. Julen discussed the problem of a Village <br />Dump. The possibility of making an arrangement <br />to use the City Dump was also discussed. No <br />action was taken. <br />Bus Service Mr• Fitzsirgmons stated to Mr. Gustafson, 1475 <br />Ie,rpenteur, that he did not intend to push route; <br />something said about Ying at Larpenteur and <br />Sjle lling. Mr • Anderson reported a group was <br />supposed to be at meeting tonight in favor of <br />bus on Pascal, but no one put in an appearance. <br />It was suggested that Geo. Shavor invite neigh- <br />`~ boys t o our next regular meet ing Tuesday, <br />October 24, and get an impression with an en- <br />deavor to get matters settled so that action <br />can be taken on petition. <br />'Nilson Property Mr• Graham reported that the proposed release <br />could not be given by the +Vilsons without <br />violating their agreement with owners of other <br />lots 3.ri Northome . It was agreed that the <br />release would not be demanded of the ~Nilsons. The <br />restrictions and easements affecting the land <br />were discussed, and Trustee Shavor moved the <br />adoption of the following Resolution: Resolved: <br />That the Mayor, the Treasurer, and the Deputy <br />Clerk be, and they hereby are directed to <br />draw a check to Roland K. ;Nilson for X2000.00 <br />in payment for the purchase price of Lots 1, 2, " <br />3, 4, 5, and. the north 20 feet of Lot 6 in <br />Block #9 and Lots 1 and 12 in Block #10, all <br />in Northome Second Addition according to the <br />plat on file and of record in the office of <br />
