<br />Treasurer's It was reported that the present X10,000 bond for the Treasurer would
<br />Bond. expire January 3, 1950. The Treasurer was directed to ask the
<br />Insurance Company for an extension of the present bond until such
<br />time as the new council will be able to act on the purchase of a
<br />bond.
<br />Deputy Clerk ®t ,the request of Clyde J. Stewart, clerk, ratteson moved, effective
<br />resolution as of December 31, 1949, rescinding of the resolution adopted by the
<br />rescinded. village council at meeting of I~ay 24, 1949, reading as follows
<br />"RESOLVED, that the appointment. of E.B. Rowley made
<br />by Clyde J. Stewart be, and tt ehereby is, approved and
<br />that deputy clerk Rowley may discharge any and all duties
<br />of the clerk and shall be paid a salary of X75 a month. This
<br />appointment shall be effective as of May 24, 1949."
<br />Seconded by Rysgaard, motion carried and said resolution declared
<br />rescinded as of Dec. 31, 1949..
