The clerk <br />was directed to request ref4ind oP said oredit. <br />Minnesota Police & Letter re Essay Contest sponsored by the Minnesota Police and <br />Peace Officers' Peace officers' association was read and ordered filed. <br />Association annual <br />essay contest. <br />Eleotion district The clerk brought up the matter of election district and <br />and polling place voting place. After disoussion, the following resolution was <br />moved by Henry, seconded by Lindig, and adopted by s unanimous <br />vote: <br />Resolution: Be it hereby RESOLVED by the Village Council, of the <br />Village of Falcon Heights, that said Pillage shall oonstitute <br />one election district, and that the polling plaoe shall be <br />the Village Hall, 1644 Larpenteur Avenue West. <br />And Be it ftiirthe r RESOLVED that notice hereof be posted <br />by the Village Clerk for 60 days. <br />Town records As to disposing of Town records; Attorney Graham reported that <br />the statute provides no limit as to hoer long suoh records shall <br />be kept, and advised that the Clerk keep them until disposition <br />is authorized by the Trnm Board. <br />Dunham vs Mr. Graham also reported that an aflswer was prepared and served <br />Village for the Village in the suit of Harry M. Dunham vs Village of <br />Falcon Heights. <br />Census to in- Shavor reported that he had written to the area supervisor <br />elude University as to including the student portion of University Grove in <br />Grove students. the census. <br />Local Health Stewart reported that Dootor Ausman had expressed willing- <br />Board Hess to serve as Chairman of a Local Health Board if <br />established by the Council. Before acting on the matter, <br />it was suggested that the question be discussed fully with <br />a representative oP the State Health Department at a fliture <br />meeting. <br />-Transfers to Village On written recommendation of the Treasurer, Shavor moved that <br />Hall & Fire Station $321.20 be transferred from .the Street and Bridge Hind to the <br />bond sinking fund & Village Hall and Fire Station bond sinking fund, and that X40.15 <br />to Fire Equipment be transferred from the Street and Bridge fund to the Fire <br />bond sinking fund. Equipment bond sinking fund, with the understanding that these <br />amounts be paid baok into the Street and Bridge fund after the <br />August 15 tea settlement. Henry seconded and motion carried. <br />
