<br />Meeting called to order at 7:40 pm. and minutes of February 28, 1950, meeting approved
<br />as read.
<br />E. ~. Grumke Reported that two motorists driving on Snelling avenue had swerved
<br />1893 N. Swelling onto his property. After discussion of a proposal to place 30-
<br /> mile speed limit signs on Snelling, Stewart moved that the matter
<br /> be referred to Public Safety Committee Chairman Arndt for his re-
<br /> port on it at our next meeting. Seconded by Shavor and carried.
<br />Bills: On motion by Rekstad, seconded by Lindig, the following three
<br /> bills were ordered paid:

<br /> Fire Protection committee Chairman Harry Anderson. Shavor then
<br /> moved payment of bills, seconded by Lindig, and so ordered.
<br />County work on Letter of March 6 was read from County Surveyor as to work per-
<br />Streets Jan. 26 formed on streets, Jan. 26 to Feb. 25, 1950, including snow and
<br />to Feb. 25, 1950 ice control and sanding, X129.31, leaving a 1950 allotment balance
<br /> of $2,201.6?.
<br />Communications: Letter of March 1 from Lyman Hanes, insurance ad3uster, Minneapolis,
<br />was read, inquiring as to how the fire in the Farm School dump
<br />near Como Avenue was started on February 16, 1950, this information
<br />being desired in connection with n claim filed with the insurance
<br />company by Joseph Grecco, 2101 Como Avenue, St Paul, for smoke
<br />deposit damage from said fire. Mayor Henry will contact the Farm
<br />School.
<br />Building plans Dwf ght Reichow, building inspector, inquired as to what he should
<br />file to be kept do with old building plena that had been turned over to him in
<br />by Building connection wit2i securing building permits. Attorney Graham
